The ITM804 is a multi-user expandable four-line corded phone from Sony with a number of useful features. Perfect for small business environments, the ITM804 supports up to 16 extensions on the same system. Caller ID/call waiting compatible, the phone holds up to 200 numbers in its internal caller ID memory, while the display-and-dial feature allows you to quickly scroll through the caller ID list and dial the displayed number with the touch of a button. Sixteen speed dial presets allow you to easily call the most frequently used outgoing numbers, while a 100-number phone directory provides a convenient way to store important phone numbers. An intercom function allows you to communicate with other phones on the same system, and three-way conferencing lets you communicate with multiple parties at once.

A speakerphone on the base provides a hands-free communication method, while a built-in data port lets you attach peripherals such as a fax machine to one of the four phone lines. Handset and ringer controls let you adjust volume levels to your liking, and the mute button allows you to hear the other party without them being able to hear you. A redial button automatically calls the last outgoing number, while the hold button places the current conversation on hold, allowing you to answer an incoming call on the other line. Selectable tone and pulse dialing modes are available via a switch on the phone, and the flash button allows you access to call waiting (requires a subscription to a fee-based service). The ITM804 weighs 2 pounds 2 ounces and has a 7.875-by-9.25-inch footprint.
