Gateway PT.G830X.002 DX4300-01 Desktop PC
Gateway PT.G830X.002 Entertainment Powerhouse DX4300-01 Desktop PC Review from Repro. Gateway garbage, I ordered this PC based on the review of the CPU. Which it has a very good CPU. The huge HDD, and the price. The first one I got would not boot at all. I mean it would not even boot in safe mode. “Windows can not boot, please restart computer”. Every time. I decided to return it right away. I really wanted this PC. Even though I could have gotten a refund. I got my second PC a couple of weeks later. The same problem. I was never able to get windows to boot. This time I even followed the directions using Gateways recovery system option. It still wouldn’t boot. I checked inside to make sure the cables were connected. Everything looked fine. I’ve just sent the second PC back and asked for a refund.
There are a couple of good reviews for this PC at NewEgg. I guess I drew the shortest straw. Two times in a row.
